Adding a property to FarmSearch

Prior to adding your property you will need to register and obtain your own user name and password to use the FarmSearch web site. This information will only be used to enable us to add your property to the FarmSearch listings; it will not be passed on to any other organisations or data agencies.

Once registered you will be able to log on to the admin section with your username and password to add or update your property details. All listings are free of charge. Full sales particulars can be incorporated into the site and accessed via the property listing page, this gives you the opportunity to display additional information from your sales particulars. A link to your own website will also be included with the full listing.

There is a “wanted” section for those wishing to advertise for a farm, land or estate within the UK. Simply complete the Registration form then go to the Add a Property page and enter your details.

Updating and deleting your property details is easily undertaken after logging in to the administration section. Any assistance you may require is available by email or telephone at normal call rates.

Technical notes re submission of photographs, logos, and printed sales particulars

Pictures will be displayed at a width of up to 300 pixels on the same page as your listing and additional text. Landscape format is preferred for pictures.

Digital pictures may be submitted in any of the following formats, jpg, gif, bmp, png, tiff, jpeg.

We may need to re edit picture files to ensure their size and format is suitable for our web pages.

Photographs (approx. 6” x 4”) may be posted to us for scanning and conversion to web images.

Agents Logos can be up to 280 x 60 pixels in size, can be submitted as gif or jpg files (max. 5kb file size).

Logos can also be reproduced from artwork or letterheads for subscribers to the directory section.

Extra web pages can be created from full sales particulars containing extra pictures, sale plans etc. For further details please contact us.

Files can be sent as email attachments or posted on floppy disc. Please ensure that you provide the following information with your files, graphics or printed matter: Name, Address, Tel. number, Property ID, User Name, Password

Please ensure that any material supplied to Farmsearch has copyright clearance for use on our web site.
